This is an acoustical diffuser I designed and built during my time running my first company, Modular Acoustics. The curved panels act as poly cylindrical diffusers which break up sound waves and eliminate the flutter echo associated with parallel walls found in most rooms.
Modular Acoustics primarily made acoustic panels for recording studios and home theaters. Occasionally I'd get a request for something special. One customer wanted the acoustic panels to double as guitar displays.
